Metal Wall Sculpture

Have always been interested in traditional ornamental metal art, created this Metal Wall Art panel about 2 years ago. Has a nice flowing leaf design connected by four small points of contact to the rectangular frame, gives it an almost free standing view. A unique finish of antique black, with an underlayment of yellow, give this one some pop. The frame is 1/2 inch angle iron, 1/8 inch thick, the ornamental leaves and scrolls are also created from 1/8 flat and round iron materials. Looks good against a light colored background, also can be mounted in a horizontal position.

Rustic Metal Wall Art

A Rustic Metal Wall Art panel featured above, created from a 3/8 wooden panel, and some recycled metal material. Titled " Decorative Shutter " for the likeness of an old shutter you might see on an exterior of a house. The brass hinges on the right have a rich green patina produced from a heavy oxidation process, adds a nice highlight of color to the piece. The center design is a floral ornament made up of leaves and scrolls, has an aged iron finish which gives a little texture on the surface.

Corn Flower

A detailed view of a small metal wall art accent, created for the face of a kitchen cabinet. Features a black and yellow crackle paint finish, which presents a rustic weathered appearance.
The photo above was taken on white background to isolate the shape and color.

The crackle finish looks pretty good against the natural grain of the wooden panel face. Titled "Corn Flower" for its' likeness of the corn shape, and the underlying yellow that escapes from the black top coat. Has a certain kitchen or pantry theme that matches well with culinary decor.

Old Iron

Take a look at this old iron object, created for a simple porch decoration. This one has a rustic weathered appearance, composed from recycled iron and brass materials. The green coloration is the patina on the surface of the brass scrollwork, the deep red and black is the heavy corrosion of the iron.

Not an extravagant example of metal wall art, but still fairly attractive. Sometimes these little accents can add charm to outside structures.

Fern Flower

A detail of a botanical metal wall art piece, fabricated from steel and brass elements create a colorful patina finish. The rusty vine, which sprouts its' way up the center of this one adds a curvy highlight.

A shapely design, appears more organic when not framed with a border. The large leafwork protruding from the left and right, have engraved veins inlaid with black, adding some light definition.
